Lucas Richert studies the history of medicine, health, and pharmacy. His three monographs and one edited volume have focused on pharmaceuticals, intoxicants, as well as the social history of health regulation and policy. Richert also serves as the Historical Director at the American Institute of the History of Pharmacy.
