Sophie obtained her professional qualification from UCL in 1995. She has worked at the University of Cambridge, cataloguing the papers of Sir Winston Churchill, and first entered corporate archives with a role at Unilever. Since then, Sophie has worked on the Boots collection for over 21 years, preserving, growing, and promoting the collection and the business’s heritage. Through her work, Boots received a Wellcome Research Resources Award in 2015, which helped to reposition the collection as an academic resource.
