Viviane Quirke is a historian of science, technology and medicine, with a special focus on the history of biomedicine, drug therapies and the pharmaceutical industry in Britain, France and the USA in the late-nineteenth and twentieth centuries. She has been researching and teaching at Oxford Brookes University since 2001.
